These days, most of the new gadgets which are coming into market, are featuring with a new technology called NFC. NFC Stands for Near Field Communication which is nothing but a tap on another configured device. Now you will come to know what can NFC Do !
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, NXP which makes NFC chips demonstrated what can a NFC chip do.
- Do you like a movie ? Just tap your smartphone on the NFC chip below the poster and get your ticket booked or watch the trailer.
- Parking Time Over ? Tap on the ticket machine and you get a new ticket issued.
- Don’t have money ? Pay for your grocery using your phone credit.
- Forgot your Car keys ? Don’t worry ! You can unlock and even start your car using your NFC enabled phone.
Well these were some features of NFC. In 2011, when Nokia released their Symbian Anna , they were the phones which were NFC enabled. This technology will be a big hit in future. Hope the iPhone also features !
